Shandel + Brendan Married at Darlington Park

Is it still called Darlington Park – Arrawarra? I’m really not sure, but that is where Shandel and Brendan travelled to so they could get married. Again we had normal Mid North Coast weather so at the last minute, the ceremony was moved from the Golf Course to the Atrium area. We were lucky enough for the rain to stop and we headed out to the beach and golf course to get some piccies.

Jamie and Chris ~Married at Valla

Valla Beach is a beautiful place to get married and as a Coffs Harbour wedding photographer, I quite often travel down to Valla for family shoots and weddings. Chris is a truckie and so of course we had to have the trucks as part of the wedding. In fact, I think Chris is going to put them up on the wall!

Yes, this is the boys having fun… sneaking in as we were preparing for a shot, blasting the horn, and then the aftermath…

Coffs Harbour Weddings~Tara + Nathan

With the wind whipping all the sand around, we waited for Tara to arrive at Park Beach. Even though it was incredibly windy, the photos really don’t show it! Cindy Pocock conducted a beautiful and moving ceremony, complete with stone heart circle, sand ceremony and Tara’s Mother walked ahead of her down the aisle collecting beautiful roses – to make a small bouquet for Tara when she arrived at the end of the isle.

I first met Jono at Ladybirds Cafe when I was there to photograph his father for council nominations. Jono asked if I did weddings and told me his and Cats’ ideas for their wedding. It sounded perfect in every way! Along the way, a few changes were made and they ended up marrying at a friends property at Bonville, with a garden party afterwards. Absolutely gorgeous!

On yet another typical Coffs Harbour Day, we had rain which forced Jess and Rick undercover at the Deep Sea Fishing Club, rather than on the grass verge opposite it. Still, nothing can stop a bride from looking gorgeous on her wedding day, and Special Occasions did an amazing job of making the area look magical. With such a windy day, we decided to make it a very fast shoot and get everyone back inside where we could watch Mother Nature from behind glass.

Recently Coffs For Kids ran a photo competition and one of the prizes was a photoshoot with Emma Rhoades Photography.

Hannah came second in the competition with her photo of her son and his donkey! She chose to have a the photoshoot. Julie was on hand to photograph their beautiful family!
